Cemetery
The Village of Millstadt owns and maintains Mount Evergreen Cemetery. Mount Evergreen Cemetery was dedicated January 16, 1908. It is located on Polk St./Saeger Road in Millstadt.
Grave lots are available in the 2nd addition. Headstones or tombstones are not allowed in this addition. The 2nd addition requires a flat bronze marker for the grave marker.
One grave lot has 2 burial places and may be pre-purchased. Single graves are also available and sold only as needed, not for pre-purchase.
The Village also offers space for cremated remains in the newly added columbarium. 2 niches may be pre-purchased. Single niches are available but, as with the grave lots, are only sold as needed; not for pre-purchase.
The following are the costs for grave lots:
- 2nd Addition (Single Space) - as needed - $1,000.00
- 2nd Addition (2 spaces) 1 Lot - $1,500.00
- Original (single space 24" x 42") 5 years and under - $600.00
- Columbarium (single niche) - as needed - $850.00
- Columbarium (2 niches) - $1,700.00

Cemetery Deeds may be purchased at the Village Office, 111 W. Laurel St., Millstadt, during regular business hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm.
In order to maintain your cemetery and keep each individual grave site in the best possible condition, please observe the following rules:
Decoration Removal Schedule
- March 1st
- May 15th
- December 1st
- Evergreen blankets permitted between December 1st and February 1st
- Cut flowers to be removed in 10 days.
